Job summary

Cgsfederal in Chantilly, VA, seeks a Desktop/Workstation Design Engineer to lead Windows image creation and deployment for enterprise endpoints. You will build and maintain OS images for desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers using MECM and MDT, ensuring deployment quality and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Windows 10 image engineering on Intel-based systems.
• Experience integrating antivirus in an image.
• Experience upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 10.
• Knowledge of security controls in the image.
• Strong writing skills and documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead desktop OS image development and deployment.
• Engineer large-scale software deployment via MECM/MDT.
• Develop tests and packages for desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers.
• Support OS patching infrastructure and security updates.
• Analyze hardware for desktops and servers.
