Job summary

Contact Government Services, LLC seeks a Desktop/Workstation Design Engineer to lead the development and deployment of Windows images across desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers within the enterprise.

You will design OS images, implement deployment via MECM/MDT, build tests, package software, and support patching with BigFix or MECM while ensuring security controls and scripting tasks are efficient and well documented.

Qualifications

Experience upgrading desktops from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and upgrading applications.
Engineering a Windows 10 image on an Intel-based system integrated with Exchange 2013 and Office 2013.
Windows OS engineering experience.
Understanding security controls on images.
VPN/Remote access (Cisco Secure Access with RSA a plus).
Windows scripting experience.
Strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

Act as SME for desktop OS image development and deployment.
Engineer deployment of software to desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers.
Develop tests and implement software distribution packages.
Provide information and recommendations to meet various user-based software requirements.
Support OS patching infrastructure with BigFix or MECM for security updates.
Analyze hardware for desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers.
