Job summary

Contact Government Services, LLC in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Desktop/Workstation Design Engineer to lead the creation and deployment of Windows desktop images across the enterprise. You will engineer large-scale software deployments using MECM and MDT, develop distribution packages for desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers, and support OS patching and security controls.

Candidates should have PowerShell/VBScript skills, strong writing ability, and the ability to work independently with

Qualifications

• Experience building and upgrading Windows desktop images (Windows 7 to Windows 10) and integrating applications.
• Ability to work independently and engineer a Windows 10 image on Intel-based systems.
• Windows OS engineering experience and knowledge of image security controls.
• Experience with anti-virus integration in images.
• Familiarity with VPN/Remote access technologies.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for desktop OS image development and implementation.
• Engineer robust large-scale software deployments using MECM/MDT.
• Develop tests and distribute software packages to desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers.
• Provide recommendations to meet user-based software requirements.
• Support OS patching infrastructure (BigFix or MECM).
• Analyze hardware and ensure security controls on images.
