Referment seeks a Senior Desktop/Workplace Engineer for its New York office to own complex technology problems and provide expert end-user support to front-office users. You will coordinate with MSPs, drive root-cause analysis and implement improvements across endpoints, identity, and productivity platforms.

The role requires seven-plus years in senior desktop engineering, with strong PowerShell skills and a track record of solving urgent incidents in a high-pressure financial environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in desktop/workplace engineering at Tier 3 or senior escalation level.
• Experience supporting enterprise-grade Windows/macOS and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong knowledge of identity, device management and security concepts.

Responsabilités

• Act as senior escalation point for New York office.
• Provide expert support to portfolio managers, analysts and traders.
• Resolve complex issues across endpoints, identity, connectivity and workplace tech.
• Oversee MSP day-to-day delivery and ensure standard of service.
• Coordinate vendors and internal teams to permanent resolution.
• Develop automation with PowerShell and write runbooks.
