Job summary

DLH Corporation is seeking a Sr Desktop Support Technician to deliver frontline IT support for the National Institute on Aging (NIA) user community. You will handle desktop systems, mobile devices, and IT services in a fast‑paced federal environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT support, strong troubleshooting, and familiarity with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Active Directory. Travel between local NIA sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or 7+ years in IT support.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+/A+, JAMF or Microsoft 365 Certified are preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux/Unix and federal IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 2/3 helpdesk support for hardware, software, and apps.
• Perform ITSM duties and standard service delivery tasks.
• Develop relationships with customers, third‑party providers, and IT teams.
• Install and configure mobile devices and maintain MDM compliance.
• Support ~700 scientists/technicians across Windows, Mac, Linux, Unix.
• Configure NIH NIA IRP standards on new machines and troubleshoot issues.
