Job summary

AKQA, part of WPP, seeks an experienced Senior Designer - Freelance to support a flagship digital product experience for a leading financial services brand. You will bring strong digital product design craft and design-systems expertise to deliver polished, scalable solutions from concept through to end user.

This remote role requires Eastern Time availability, 40 hours per week, ASAP through December 23, 2026, with weekly compensation of 3,400–3,800 USD.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing digital product design on complex platforms.
• Experience contributing to design systems with scalable components.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality digital product experiences from concept to delivery.
• Contribute to design systems and UI libraries for consistency across products.
• Develop and deliver high-fidelity designs, flows, and prototypes in Figma.
• Translate complex requirements into simple, user-centered design solutions.
• Collaborate with UX, strategy, and development teams to ensure cohesive work.
• Present and articulate design decisions to internal teams and clients.
• Maintain a high level of craft across all deliverables.
