Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day creative correspondence with over 100 licensees across US and Canada, including project kick‑offs, design direction, and approvals.
  • Ensure all submissions adhere to Paramount’s product development approval process and brand standards, maintaining continuity across packaging platforms.
  • Lead creative kick‑offs with licensees, ensuring proper use of brand guides and providing tailored visual and written direction.
  • Attend trade shows and conduct seasonal store checks to identify market trends and white‑space opportunities, sharing insights internally and with partners.
  • Create mock‑ups and pitch materials as needed to support evolving business needs and product launches.
  • Lead marketing creative kick‑offs with franchise and business teams, offering strategic guidance on marketing best practices and creative approaches.
  • Review and approve marketing materials (e.g., web banners, social media, in‑store displays) in Creative+ prior to launch.
  • Collaborate with outside studios to ensure adherence to brand standards, acting as a creative liaison between studios and licensees.
  • Routinely meet with the CPG business team to align on project timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Develop presentation and guide materials to support internal and external creative initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
  • Approximately 5‑10 years’ experience in design, with solid creative abilities and aesthetic judgment.
Additional Qualifications
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Deep knowledge in typography, layout, packaging design, and colour theory.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  • Robust organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience designing for both children’s and adult markets
  • Skilled in licensing industry practices, including contracts and agreements
  • Proven ability to develop original, trend‑relevant artwork and make strategic creative decisions
  • Solid presentation skills, adjustable for diverse audiences and multilingual contexts
  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid decision‑maker with a forward‑thinking, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Flexible and self‑motivated, able to work individually or within a team.

  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for market trends and consumer insights.
  • Creative flair with the ability to translate trends into compelling packaging and product design.
