Coach in New York seeks a Senior Designer for Men's Ready-to-Wear to translate the creative vision into commercial product across multichannel platforms, supporting runway direction and brand integrity. You will mentor junior designers, lead development from concept to samples, collaborate with design, merchandising, product development and technical design teams, and push bold ideas with precision.

This role requires a strong design background, 8+ years, and a deep understanding of RTW

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Design or related field.
• Minimum 8 years' design experience.
• Strong fashion sense with an ability to interpret trends.
• Knowledge in RTW, Garment Construction, and material technology.
• Excellent hand sketching skills with renderings.
• CAD technical drawings and image manipulation.
• Understanding of fabric and garment construction, fit, and performance.
• Ability to CAD renderings and conduct fittings.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design concepts from initial idea to show samples across multichannel.
• Conduct seasonal research to inspire design direction for commercial and runway.
• Create a strong commercial assortment across multichannel with cohesive concepts.
• Collaborate with materials team to source fabrics and trims balancing price points.
• Mentor and manage junior designers with clear delegation.
• Oversee timelines and ensure deadlines and business objectives are met.
• Protect brand integrity and develop branding concepts through research.
• Collaborate with design, merchandising, product development and technical design teams.
• Present design work to internal partners and maintain relationships.
• Push back on ideas not aligning with brand decisions.
• Ensure samples are received for product presentations and development.
