Job summary

Unispace is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead workplace and life sciences projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate with clients to understand their culture and translate requirements into thoughtful, high‑performing design solutions.

You will drive design excellence, produce coordinated documentation, and present ideas to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with codes and buildability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of interior design experience with workplace projects
• Strong design portfolio showing creativity and technical depth
• Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Enscape or similar visualization tools
• Ability to lead projects and guide teams through all phases
• Knowledge of building codes and standards; experience with regulated environments is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead workplace and life sciences projects from concept through completion
• Partner closely with clients to translate culture and requirements into design solutions
• Drive design excellence across all stages from test fits to full documentation
• Collaborate with design principals and cross-functional teams
• Lead project teams in producing drawings, finish palettes, and coordinated documentation sets
• Present and communicate design ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders
• Ensure designs align with building systems, codes, and regulatory requirements
• Balance creativity with constructability and deliverability
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
