Job summary

Unispace is seeking an experienced interior designer to lead workplace and life sciences projects from concept through construction. You will partner with clients to translate culture and requirements into high-performing design solutions, and guide multi-disciplinary teams through all design stages.

Bring a strong portfolio, Revit and visualization tool expertise, and a proven ability to present and collaborate with clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of interior design experience with workplace and life sciences exposure.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical depth.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with Enscape or similar visualization tools.
• Ability to lead projects and guide teams through all design phases.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and buildability.
• Knowledge of building codes; experience with regulated environments is a plus.
• Confident in presenting to clients and leading design conversations.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work across disciplines and time zones.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver workplace and life sciences projects from concept through completion.
• Partner with clients to understand their business, culture, and requirements and translate into design solutions.
• Drive design excellence across stages from test fits to full construction documentation.
• Collaborate with Design Principals and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life.
• Lead project teams in producing drawings, finish palettes, and coordinated documentation sets.
• Present and communicate design ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure designs align with building systems, codes, and regulated environments where applicable.
• Balance creativity with constructability and deliverability.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
