Job summary

Unispace is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead workplace and life sciences projects from concept through to completion. You will partner with clients to understand their culture and requirements, translating them into high-performing design solutions and coordinated documentation.

You will collaborate with Design Principals and cross-functional teams across time zones, guiding projects through all phases with strong Revit and visualization tool proficiency.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of interior design experience, with exposure to workplace projects.
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical depth.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with Enscape or similar visualization tools.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and guide teams through all phases.
  • Knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and buildability.
  • Knowledge of building codes; experience with regulated environments is a plus.
  • Confidence in presenting to clients and leading design conversations.
  • Collaborative mindset across disciplines and time zones.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented with strong attention to detail.

  • Ensure designs align with building systems, codes, and technical requirements, including highly regulated environments where applicable.
  • Balance creativity with constructability, ensuring designs are deliverable and impactful.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring
  • 8+ years of interior design experience, with strong exposure to workplace projects and ideally life sciences environments
  • A strong design portfolio that demonstrates both creativity and technical depth
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience with Enscape or similar visualization tools
  • Proven ability to lead projects and guide teams through all phases of design
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and buildability
  • Knowledge of building codes and standards; experience with regulated environments is a plus
  • Confidence in presenting to clients and leading design conversations
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across disciplines and time zones
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with strong attention to detail
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • NCIDQ, AIA, or LEED accreditation is a plus
