Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking a Senior Designer for Haven Well Within in our New York design studio. You will lead knitwear concepts each season, aligning with the creative vision, Haven aesthetic, and customer needs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, mentor junior designers, present collections, and drive fabric directions while maintaining the line plan.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fashion Design and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Knits/Active design experience required.
• Superior time and project management skills.
• Effective communicator with strong presentation abilities.
• Sketch, CAD and execute flats and technical sketches; work with pattern makers and sample makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design research for knitwear from concept to development.
• Identify trends and innovate fabrics/techniques for collections.
• Create and execute design concepts aligned with line plan.
• Set seasonal framework and fabric direction; oversee tech packs.
• Present collection at sketch and line presentations; mentor staff.

You will be a part of a creative environment, collaborating with talented designers and cross-functional partners across the business.
