Job summary

Hobbs+Black Architects is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the development of design solutions from concept through design development, partnering with clients, project teams, and studio leadership to create innovative, human-centered environments.

You will mentor Designers I and II, advance design excellence across the practice, and balance client goals, user experience, technical requirements, and sustainability across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of related work experience.
• Experience using Revit, Bluebeam, Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, or other rendering platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of architectural design, concept development, space planning, sustainability, and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design excellence by integrating creativity, functionality, sustainability, and technical considerations.
• Create meaningful client experiences through workshops, visioning sessions, and presentations.
• Lead and collaborate with architects, interior designers, project managers, and technical professionals.
• Mentor Designers I and II to foster creativity and professional growth.
• Advance design innovation by exploring trends and visualization tools.
• Contribute to firm success through pursuits and client presentations.
