Nordstrom, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Senior Designer for Nordstrom Made to lead the design and development of multiple apparel categories from concept through production approval.

You will mentor a design team, drive the seasonal direction, and ensure the brand's DNA is expressed in fabric, silhouette, and finish. Collaborate with Design Director, Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design to protect product integrity while maximizing gross margin.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive apparel design experience, preferably within an American lifestyle or heritage-driven brand.
• Experience designing in outerwear, tailoring, or structured wovens is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Experience managing and developing a design team.
• Strong organizational discipline with ability to track multiple deliverables and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and development of multiple apparel categories from concept to production approval.
• Mentor and coach direct reports on a design team.
• Create presentation boards, CAD artwork, and illustrations to communicate seasonal vision.
• Collaborate with Design Director, Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design to protect product integrity while maximizing gross margin.
