Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior Designer, Engineering to develop advanced medical device components and assemblies. You will apply parametric CAD to create complex parts, assess engineering concepts, and drive design decisions with manufacturability and reliability in mind.

You will collaborate with R&D, NPD, and clinical teams to advance transcatheter heart valve innovations, ensuring quality and regulatory alignment while delivering impactful solutions for patients worldwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 10 years of related experience.
• CAD Certification or related program certification.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering preferred.
• Experience in plastic injected molded parts design and injection-molding principles.
• Proficiency with Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CAD PDM.

Responsibilities

• Create complex product designs using parametric CAD to develop assemblies and parts.
• Assess viability of engineering concepts and advise revisions on designs.
• Ensure manufacturability, safety, performance, and reliability; select materials and costs.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and NPD teams.
