Job Summary

• Relevant experience of 5 to 8 years with bachelors degree or equivalent
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and articulate product design concepts
• Demonstrated ability to independently solve problems
• Experience in Mechanical System, Hydraulics system design, Components selection (Adapters / Hose)
• Well versed with Caterpillar tools and processes
• Sound experience in Platform Engineering
• Good exposure to Vehicle Integration and assembly
• Should have experience in designing cooling systems.
• Proven experience in CAD tools (CREO or similar), Teamcenter, VisMockup, SDP fluid lines/hydraulic lines
• Caterpillar print creation and releasing process

Key Responsibilities

• Hydraulic design - Component design, Manufacturing review, Detailed model and drawing creation, Tolerance analysis
• Power Train Drive system - Not much of scope here. However in future design of power train system may also be included
• Overall Structure design - Component design, Manufacturing review, Detailed model and drawing creation, Tolerance analysis
• Cooling System Design - Cooling system design, Simulation support will be provided by client. However detailed design should be done by the candidate. Should have experience in designing cooling systems.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate's pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
