NewWorld in New York is seeking a Senior Designer to craft brand identities, episodic systems and scalable design frameworks across print, digital and experiential.

You will lead with concept-driven craft, collaborating with strategy and production to deliver production-ready art from concept to hand-off, across YouTube, social, podcasts and campaigns. This freelance contract role emphasizes speed, taste and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience in design, creative studios, agencies or media environments.
• Portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and high craft across brand systems and campaigns.
• Strong typography, layout and visual systems fundamentals.
• Ability to art direct and carry a visual world across formats.
• Strong writing chops for headlines, social copy and narrative framing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Figma skills preferred.
• Production savy with timelines, hand-offs and multi-format delivery.
• Detail-obsessed, deadline-responsible and collaborative with low ego.

Responsibilities

• Show Branding & Episodic Identity Systems: logos, title treatments and design systems.
• Create identity systems scalable across platforms (YouTube, TikTok, IG, podcasts, newsletters).
• Develop show toolkits: thumbnails, lower thirds, templates, cover art, social modules.
• Partner with producers/editors to translate designs into motion and post-production workflows.
• Lead client branding and campaign systems translating insights into bold creative territories.
• Develop flexible visual systems (typography, colour, layout) for scalable production.
• Produce platform-native social content with versioning and adaptation.
• Ensure every deliverable is production-ready with clean files and clear hand-offs.
