Job summary

Hashtag Interactive is seeking a Senior Designer with strong visual instincts and conceptual thinking to lead campaigns across social and digital channels. You’ll craft visual directions, develop coherent systems, and work with multidisciplinary teams on projects spanning government, education, healthcare and consumer brands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a creative agency, advertising, branding, digital or social media environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, typography, composition and visual craft.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of designing for social and digital platforms.
• Ability to develop visual systems across brands and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop visual concepts and creative directions for campaigns, social media and digital communications.
• Design across social content, key visuals, digital campaigns, presentations and event collateral.
• Collaborate with copywriters, art directors, strategists, account teams, illustrators and animators.
• Translate creative ideas into flexible visual systems for multiple platforms and formats.
• Contribute ideas during brainstorms, pitches and campaign development.
• Maintain high visual consistency and craft across projects.
• Guide and provide constructive feedback to junior creatives.
• Work with motion designers and video teams to translate ideas into animation and video.
• Stay current with design trends, culture and emerging visual formats.
