Job summary

5 Hundred Degrees Design Studio in Columbus is seeking a Senior Designer to lead creative campaigns across print, digital, social, and promotional materials. You'll collaborate with art directors and copywriters, manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, and mentor junior designers while upholding brand standards and high-quality execution.

A strong portfolio in branding, typography, illustration, and motion design, and expert command of Adobe Creative Suite are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
• 6+ years of professional design experience
• Portfolio across print and digital – motion graphics a plus
• Expert use of Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Experience creating presentations (Keynote)
• Mastery of typography, illustration, color, shape, and design
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop ideas, concepts, campaigns, and insights driving consumer reaction
• Create visually appealing design concepts for print, digital ads, social media, websites, emails, and promos
• Refresh concepts from client briefs and problem-solve beyond briefs
• Ensure brand consistency and maintain agency quality standards
• Transform ideas into polished designs using typography, color, layout and motion
• Manage multiple projects with tight, changing timelines
• Collaborate with internal teams to foster innovation and accountability
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality creative deliverables
• Be a strong partner and influencer of the creative process
• Provide mentorship to junior designers
