Job summary

5 Hundred Degrees Design Studio is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the development of merchandising, marketing, and promotional materials for big-brand clients. You will collaborate with art directors and copywriters to ensure designs align with client objectives and strategic direction.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of design experience, a strong portfolio across print and digital, and mastery of typography, color, and layout.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or equivalent work experience.
6+ years of professional design experience.
Portfolio of print and digital work; motion graphics a plus.
Expert use of Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects).
Experience creating presentations (Keynote required).
Mastery of typography, illustration, color, shape, and design.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop creative ideas, campaigns, and insights to drive consumer engagement.
Create design concepts for print, digital ads, social media, websites, emails, and promos.
Work from client briefs and proactively problem-solve beyond briefs.
Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables.
Transform ideas into polished designs including typography, color, layout.
Manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
Collaborate with internal creative team and cross-functional partners.
Mentor junior designers and foster a collaborative team environment.
