Nippies is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the creative development of new bra-alternative solutions across the Nippies and Nips by Nippies lines. You will drive concepts from trend insights to market-ready products, working closely with technical and production teams to bring ideas to life.

We value designers with a clear POV on fit and comfort, expanding into adjacent categories like intimates, sleep, and swim.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience in intimates, sleep, swim, or body-conscious apparel categories.
• Strong point of view on fit, comfort, and silhouette, with fashion meets function.
• Experience taking concepts from sketch through to finished, market-ready product.
• Comfortable partnering with technical design and factories to translate creative vision into buildable specs.
• Proficiency with Illustrator and other standard design tools; Photoshop and presentation-deck skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and concept development for new bra-alternative products across Nippies and Nips by Nippies.
• Research trend and consumer needs across intimates, sleep, swim, and activewear to create original concepts.
• Build mood boards, sketches, and design presentations for leadership and buyers.
• Collaborate with technical design and production to ensure concepts translate into buildable, comfortable products.
• Select fabrics, adhesives, trims, and colors that support aesthetics and comfort.
• Attend and lead fittings, providing a design perspective on fit and silhouette.
• Stay tuned to bra-alternative trends and inform differentiation strategies.
• Help build seasonal design calendars and manage multiple concepts.
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and leadership to align with brand vision.
• Mentor junior designers and external contractors as the team grows.
