Job summary

Fotlinc in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Bra Designer to translate trends into commercially viable concepts. This on-site role involves developing CADs, line drawings, and prototypes that align with brand strategy and seasonal direction.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure fit, construction, cost, and margin targets while driving cohesive design language across the line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Design required.
• 5+ years of experience in bra design.
• Proficient knowledge of bra sewing techniques, pattern construction, pad development, molding, fitting, and grading.
• Strong technical flat sketching ability and ability to translate design intent into clear development direction.
• Proficiency with design and product development systems, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and PLM.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to sell design concepts to internal and external decision makers.
• Ability to travel domestically for research, customer presentations, and product development.

Responsibilities

• Delivers bra concepts, silhouettes, CADs, line drawings, and prototypes that reflect brand strategy and seasonal direction.
• Translates trend, marketplace, and consumer insights into designs that strengthen brand relevance and support commercial growth.
• Creates product solutions that balance comfort, support, aesthetics, wearability, and consumer value.
• Selects fabrics, components, pad constructions, and molding solutions that meet target cost, quality, and margin goals.
• Partners with Product Engineering and suppliers to evaluate construction options and protect design intent.
• Moves design work through the seasonal product development calendar with timely decisions and clear communication.
• Completes design deliverables, sample reviews, revisions, and presentations on schedule.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to refine designs and drive successful product adoption.
• Maintains strong category expertise through trend and competitive analysis.
