Job summary

HarperCollins Christian Publishing seeks a creative Senior Designer with experience in designing and typesetting 4-color lifestyle, cookbooks, children and gift books to join our in-house Content Design team. You will transform ideas into high-design book interiors, collaborating with editorial, production and art directors, while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience designing and typesetting book interiors.
• Expert knowledge of typography and book layout.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong collaboration with editorial and production teams.
• Proficiency with InDesign and other Adobe CC tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop interiors from concept to print-ready files.
• Collaborate with editors, production and art directors.
• Handle pre-press tasks and color proofs.
• Maintain schedules and report progress.
• Troubleshoot design issues and repurpose content.
