• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience designing and typesetting book interiors.
• Experience with 4-color lifestyle, cookbooks, children and gift books.
• BA in Design with emphasis on interior book design and typography.

Responsibilities

• Develop book interiors from design concept to proofs for print production.
• Collaborate with editorial, production and art directors to achieve print-ready files.
• Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare print-ready PDFs and oversee pre-press processes.
• Color correct photos/illustrations and create graphs as needed.
• Archive files and repurpose content while handling reprint corrections.
