Job summary

Precision Strategies seeks a Senior Designer with an exceptional command of layout, typography, and branding. You’ll be a hands‑on designer, developing concepts, setting visual direction, and mentoring junior designers.

You’ll lead on rebrands, logos, campaigns, decks, and design for video, partnering with creative directors and copywriters to develop ideas and carry a distinctive visual language across formats. The role is based in Washington, DC or New York, NY with a flexible hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional layout, typography, branding, and well-crafted decks.
• Ability to move between identity design, campaigns, presentations, and video support.
• Strong conceptual thinking and collaboration with writers and directors.
• Experience mentoring designers and giving actionable feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on design across brand identities, campaigns, decks, and print materials.
• Develop concepts with creative directors and copywriters and translate into visual direction.
• Build identity systems that work across applications with clear typography and color choices.
• Design decks that clarify complex information with structure and momentum.
• Create visual assets and direction with video editors and producers.
• Maintain consistency across channels and formats.
• Present work, explain decisions, and incorporate feedback.
• Own projects from exploration through final production, ensuring high craft.
• Mentor junior designers and review their work at key stages.
• Manage multiple assignments and communicate progress.
