Job summary

Precision Strategies seeks a Senior Video Designer with editorial instincts and a strong sense for imagery, sound, pacing, and rhythm. This hands-on role edits concepts or scripts into compelling on-screen pieces across short social edits and longer narratives.

You will work with internal creative leads to judge footage, music, typography, and timing to strengthen the idea and its character. The role includes mentoring junior editors and evolving craft within a hybrid office setup in Washington,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of video editing and post-production experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating range, pacing, and storytelling.
• Ability to translate a concept/script into compelling on-screen edits.
• Strong technical editing skills and familiarity with the Adobe video workflow.

Responsibilities

• Own edits from assembly through final delivery with independence.
• Edit across social pieces to longer narrative edits with strong timing.
• Shape footage, performances, music, sound, and typography to support the idea.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, copywriters, and designers to refine work.
• Explain creative decisions and respond to feedback constructively.
• Adapt edits for different channels and formats while preserving intent.
• Maintain organized projects and ensure delivery quality.
