Iverson is a creative and technology partner to ambitious companies. We help businesses identify opportunities and solve their most pressing problems. Thumb-stopping campaigns, brand formation, and world-class interface design are just a few ways we drive impact.
We are looking for a Senior Designer who is passionate about doing great visual work wherever it's needed. This person is a core part of our creative force, moving across brand, digital, and campaign work for ambitious clients and bringing a sharp strategic lens to every design decision. You are a systems thinker with strong aesthetic instincts, someone who can take a project from a blank page to a fully realized piece of work and make it feel inevitable. You're not boxed into a single discipline. One week might be a brand identity, the next a product interface or a campaign concept. While your focus is visual design, you're comfortable making UX calls when they come up rather than waiting for someone else to make them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design work across a range of project types, including brand identity, digital product, marketing campaigns, and content, depending on what each client needs.
- When the work calls for a brand identity, develop the full system: logos, typography, color, iconography, and visual language, along with the guidelines and asset libraries that make it usable.
- Apply visual systems consistently across whatever touchpoints a project requires, including digital, print, social, packaging, and campaign creative.
- Make sound UX decisions where visual design and user experience intersect, even when UX isn't the primary mandate of the project.
- Use prototyping tools, including AI-assisted tools like Cursor or Claude, to bring concepts to life quickly and explore directions further than static comps alone would allow.
- Collaborate with web and motion designers to ensure your work translates seamlessly into digital environments.
- Present and defend creative work to clients with confidence, walking them through the thinking and navigating feedback with clarity and grace.
- Contribute to new business pitches by helping shape and visualize creative direction.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, owning your projects from strategy through final execution with minimal hand-holding.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 6+ years in design is ideal, but we care more about the strength of your work and your ability to present it than a specific number. Meaningful time in a creative agency or other client-facing environment is required. A strong portfolio showcasing range across project types and industries, not just one type of work, is required.
- Creative Vision: A distinctive design sensibility and a sophisticated eye for typography, color, and composition. You push past safe and expected without losing sight of strategy.
- Strategic Thinking: You don't design in a vacuum. Every visual decision is grounded in a point of view about the brand and the business it serves.
- Presentation: You don't design in a vacuum. Every visual decision is grounded in a point of view about the brand and the business it serves.
- Systems Thinking: You build brands that hold up in the real world across every surface, not just the ones in the case study.
- Multitasker: Comfortable managing multiple client engagements at different stages simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Communication: Confident and clear when presenting work, skilled at building client trust and articulating the rationale behind creative decisions.
- Organization & Detail: Meticulous about file organization, handoff documentation, and delivering assets that are truly production-ready.
- Extreme Ownership Mentality: Proactive, resourceful, and relentless in delivering exceptional work. You take ownership of the full brand experience, not just your immediate deliverables.
- AI Forward: Open to and actively experimenting with AI tools as part of your creative process to move faster and explore further.
- Sense of Humor: Lighthearted and positive, contributing to a culture of fun and creativity while knowing when to buckle down.
- "That Dog": Hungry, relentless, and always pushing craft. You put in the extra effort when the project demands it because great work matters to you.
