ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Design Technician in Greensboro, NC to support electric distribution projects, including highway relocations and grid improvements. You will help deliver accurate designs, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to essential infrastructure upgrades for local communities.

Key responsibilities include drafting, calculations, permitting, and cost estimating, with opportunities for field work and travel.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of utility industry design experience in electric distribution design.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and travel to project sites as needed.

Responsabilités

• Support electric distribution projects including highway relocations and grid modernization.
• Produce engineering plans, reports, diagrams, and construction documents.
• Complete utility design tasks: drafting, calculations, permits, and cost estimating.
• Coordinate projects across departments, contractors, and clients for timely delivery.
• Utilize GIS and CAD software to review and update utility designs.
• Assist in field activities such as GPS surveys and utility locating.
