Job summary

The role may include mentoring junior technicians and coordinating with a project manager to ensure compliance with agency standards. The candidate will review technical documents, prepare reports, and collaborate with clients and professionals to meet project requirements, while maintaining schedule and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or GED, 9 years with an Associate's Degree, or 8 years with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Proven field technician experience with a track record of successful completion of assigned projects.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to quality assurance and safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite; Photoshop and Google Earth

Responsibilities

• Design and draft large-scale construction drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Mentor and manage lower-level Design Technicians.
• Work closely with a project manager to ensure designs meet federal, state, and local standards.
• Review and interpret technical documents and prepare accurate reports.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Interface with clients and other professionals to meet project requirements.
