Job summary

Blink Health in Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior Design System Engineer II to shape and scale the visual and interaction foundations of Blink’s digital ecosystem. You’ll partner with Product Design, Software Engineering, and cross‑functional teams to evolve the shared frontend design system that drives consistent, high‑quality experiences across all our products.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience in front-end or UI engineering.
Experience on enterprise-scale or complex professional software.
Prior contributions to a frontend design system at scale.
Experience integrating UI components into a complex ecosystem.
Comfort with rapid prototyping and experimentation.

Responsibilities

Build and evolve standardized UI components that deliver high quality, performance, accessibility, and design fidelity.
Conduct code reviews, validate design fit and finish, and collaborate with Design teams for pixel-perfect execution.
Publish, document, and maintain components in the design system library for scalability across teams.
Integrate design system components into existing products transitioning to shared UI infrastructure.
Mentor other engineering teams and promote best practices for using and extending the design system.
Create live prototypes and proofs of concept to test new patterns and UI paradigms.
