Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services in Leawood, Kansas seeks a Senior Design Project Manager to lead complex facilities projects in the life sciences sector. You will direct engineering functions, coordinate client interactions, and guide manpower and resource loading to meet financial, schedule, and quality goals.

The role requires 10+ years in PM, GMP/pharma project experience, and PMP is preferred. You will mentor teams, manage sub-consultants, and collaborate with executives to mitigate project

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in project management.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or planning.
• A minimum of 5 years of Pharmaceutical/GMP project experience.
• Skilled in IT tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, planning, and scheduling software.
• Understanding of Earned Value and other project control methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to achieve scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate client interaction and provide guidance on manpower and resource loading.
• Develop design budgets and manage sub-consultants.
• Prepare internal and client monthly financial/schedule reports.
• Identify risks and mitigate them with Project Executives and the Director of Operations.
• Mentor developing staff within the PM group and design disciplines.
