Job summary

ENGICON Construction Management is a Los Angeles-based firm seeking a Design Manager to interface between CPT and the Design Team, guiding projects from planning through close-out and DSA certification. The role coordinates, monitors, and QA/QC design deliverables to ensure compliance with DSA guidelines, codes, and district standards.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in design or design management.
• 5 of the 10 years with projects requiring DSA or OSHPD certification.
• BA or BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary interface between CPT, design consultants, and specialty consultants.
• Coordinate design from planning to close-out and DSA certification.
• Lead QA/QC on plans, specs, schedules for quality and constructability.
• Manage timely and compliant production, review and sign-off of design deliverables.
• Review CCDs during construction for completeness and alignment with design intent, guide through DSA process.
