Job summary

ENGICON CM seeks a senior construction project manager in Los Angeles to lead projects from pre-construction through close-out for public facilities. You will coordinate with district staff and agencies, review documents, and drive schedules and budgets to meet district standards.

The role requires extensive experience with complex, high-value projects and familiarity with BIM, LEED/CHPS, and DSA processes. Candidates should show strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Ten years of full-time paid experience in Construction and/or project management of commercial/public facilities.
• At least three of the ten years must involve coordinating complex projects over $10M.
• Preferred BIM experience and LEED/CHPS involvement, OSHA 30 minimum.
• Knowledge of DSA construction/design processes and regulatory coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-construction through close-out for assigned projects.
• Review pre-construction documents and provide comments to Designers.
• Plan, organize, and report project status to upper management.
• Coordinate with public agencies and district staff to ensure compliance.
• Control project budget and schedule, monitor monthly status and reflect progress.
• Oversee contractor daily activities, schedules, submittals, RFCs, and change orders.
• Review substitutions and ensure compliance with specifications and district requirements.
• Monitor payments and administer professional service agreements; coordinate delivery of fixtures/equipment.
