Job summary

ENGICON CM is seeking an experienced Project/Construction Manager to oversee pre-construction, development, bid/award, and close-out activities on educational facility projects in Los Angeles.

You will coordinate with the Planning and Development Project Manager, review design feedback, monitor budgets, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with Cal OSHA and environmental requirements. Strong AutoCAD/Revit skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years full-time paid professional experience in Project/Construction Management.
• Experience in safety construction protocols, Cal OSHA requirements and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-construction, development, bid/award, and close-out phases.
• Draft concept drawings to assist with visualization of project scope.
• Review feedback and proposed scopes of work from the design team and provide recommendations.
• Draft reports to PDPM and management on status and progress.
• Coordinate with public agencies to meet federal/state requirements.
• Monitor project budgets and reflect progress accurately.
• Assist with contracts, bid and planning.
• Maintain facility inventory maps with AutoCAD.
• Support policy guidelines and procedural improvements.
