Reliability & Performance Technologies in Washington, DC seeks a senior Design Integration Manager to act as the primary technical integrator across electrical, structural, mechanical and naval architecture disciplines. You will coordinate with NAVSEA and PMS 385 to ensure designs meet requirements, schedule and budget.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years experience in US Navy ship design, acquisition or modernization.
• Proven multidisciplinary engineering integration leadership.
• Deep knowledge of NAVSEA ship design processes.
• Experience coordinating design across multiple organizations.
• Ability to review drawings, calculations and specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead as the primary design integration representative supporting NAVSEA 05D Ship Design Manager.
• Mentor a team of senior engineers and subject matter experts to meet milestones.
• Coordinate design efforts across electrical, structural, mechanical and naval architecture.
• Evaluate design products for completeness, interfaces and navy standards.
• Lead technical discussions on trade studies, reviews and configuration management.
• Review contract deliverables, analyses, drawings and documentation.
• Support PDR, CDR, TI meetings and IPTs.
• Coordinate resolution of engineering issues among stakeholders.
• Monitor risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Assist in ECPs, design decisions memoranda and technical recommendations.
• Help develop project schedules and track engineering deliverables.
• Ensure NAVSEA instructions and military specs are met; provide executive briefings.
