Job summary

You will mentor design engineers, review technical work, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance for diverse public-sector clients.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of progressive engineering experience, a PE license, and strong client relations and communication skills to manage scopes, schedules, and budgets effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• Experience with design and plan production in AutoCAD Civil 3D, BlueBeam, and applicable engineering model software.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards.
• Knowledge of state and federal permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex municipal transportation, drainage, and utility projects.
• Provide critical and constructive review of project work for technical accuracy and QA/QC.
• Mentor design engineers, CAD staff, and project team members.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to complete assignments on time and within budget.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions affecting feasibility and conformance.
