Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. seeks a Sr. Design Engineer to review customer specs, perform mechanical design calculations, and prepare manufacturing drawings.

You will analyze and optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost, while documenting and presenting results to stakeholders. Responsibilities include generating drawings and BOMs, validating against ASME Code requirements, and delivering IOMs. 5+ years of relevant experience and PE preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; Master’s is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in the product line/industry.
• Expert experience in designing pressure vessels and heat exchangers per ASME Code (Section VIII Divisions 1 and 2) and HEI standards.
• Proficiency in drafting using AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
• Registered Professional Engineer preferred; CAD software certifications a plus.

Aufgaben

• Review contract requirements and client technical specifications.
• Perform mechanical calculations and prepare design details and fabrication drawings.
• Create BOMs, analyze foundation loading, and conduct code calculations.
• Develop general arrangement drawings, P&ID, and assembly drawings.
• Issue final drawings/packages to workshops or clients and prepare IOMs.
