Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. seeks a Senior Design Engineer to lead MWL design and global production initiatives. You will drive technical direction, mentor teams, and coordinate changes across plants and partners to improve quality and delivery.

The role requires strong project management, deep technical skills with Creo/Teamcenter, and the ability to communicate across cultures. Relocation and onsite collaboration are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, required for technical leadership.
• Proven ability to communicate across global teams and drive alignment.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of current production MWL design control and worldwide production.
• MWL engineering and/or product group leader for major quality events worldwide.
• Coordinate updates among engineering designers, manufacturing engineers, and product engineers at plants.
• L6 Subject Matter Expert for MWL current production product and processes.
• Collaborate with system teams to develop improvements meeting customer needs.
• Support manufacturing facilities during ramp-up and New Source Introductions.
