Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Engineering Project Team Leader to drive innovation for Medium Wheel Loader products. You will provide project management and technical leadership to a team of engineers, directing design work, and coordinating with defense and field kit teams.

This role requires strong collaboration across time zones and a track record of delivering complex solutions. Responsibilities include leading design activities, managing costs and schedules, and mentoring junior engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Progressive knowledge of Medium Wheel Loader or similar products.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willing to collaborate with international teams in various time zones.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with Creo and Teamcenter.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and project leadership along with hands‑on machine expertise to a team of engineers and technicians.
• Lead and perform design work for projects that lead to direct sales of machines, configurations, and attachments to customers.
• Lead and develop field dealer installed & factory kits and many unique solutions.
• Partner with Caterpillar Defense Products in support of military applications.
• Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders.
• Mentoring junior engineers in the team.
