ARA Brand is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer for its Concept Development Group. This role, based in either Albuquerque, NM or Shalimar, FL, involves design, development, and verification of weapon systems. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and over 10 years of relevant experience.

The candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team and must possess strong technical leadership and analytical skills. Benefits include a 401(k) plan and various insurance options.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 years of recent, related work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate well with teams.
• Active SECRET Clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced mechanical systems and weapon subsystems.
• Perform engineering design evaluations on weapons systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and cross train other engineering fields.
