Job summary

ERG Aerospace Corporation seeks a Design Engineer to own discrete design, analysis, and testing across product lines. You will generate 3D/2D drawings, perform simulations, and support manufacturing with DFMEA/RTVM records.

You will collaborate with leadership, customers, and suppliers, planning multi-project tasks in a fast-paced aerospace environment and contributing to continuous improvement. Prior aerospace experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a design/development background in mechanical aerospace products.
• Experience creating and reviewing CAD drawings per ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Ability to generate DFMEA, RTVM, and related design records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and innovate new products and systems. Enhance and support existing products.
• Support Sales/BD with engineering input for new inquiries, feasibility, costs, and requirements.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate resolution with team members.
• Plan and execute engineering tasks with limited supervision across multiple projects.
• Perform structural/thermal simulations and analyses as needed.
• Generate 3D/2D drawings per customer requirements and review manufacturing work orders.
• Create DFMEA, RTVM, design journals and other records.
• Conduct product testing and compile analysis reports; draft engineering test reports.
• Present results and recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Identify and source materials, parts, and services from vendors.
• Support MRB dispositions and root-cause investigations.
