Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical product design in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and PDM/PLM systems.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Experience from concept to production: design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing support.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom metal bellows, assemblies, tooling, and fixtures using SolidWorks and ASME Y14.5.
• Create detailed drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Translate customer specifications into manufacturable designs.
• Apply GD&T, DFMA, and best practices throughout development.
• Perform advanced mechanical analysis and calculations (stress, pressure, strength, fatigue).
• Lead FEA and engineering simulations to validate designs and improve performance.
• Characterize bellows products and correlate data with models.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, operations, and sales.
• Support prototype fabrication, testing, and product qualification.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive design/process improvements.
