Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and development of complex engineered products in a 70-year legacy of innovation. You will drive the design of custom metal bellows, tooling, and fixtures, translating customer needs into manufacturable solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance performance and reliability.

The role emphasizes advanced SolidWorks proficiency, GD&T, DFMA practices, FEA leadership, and hands-on guidance through

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ mechanical product design experience in manufacturing.
Proficiency with SolidWorks and PDM/PLM systems.
Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
Experience translating customer requirements into manufacturable solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and develop custom metal bellows, assemblies, tooling, and fixtures using SolidWorks and ASME Y14.5 standards.
Create detailed drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and documentation for manufacturing and customers.
Translate specifications into robust, manufacturable product designs.
Lead FEA and engineering simulations to validate designs and optimize geometries.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and sales to improve performance, cost, and manufacturability.
