Milwaukee Tool is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to lead mid/high complexity new product development in concrete tooling. You will drive analytic leadership, develop test regimens, and mentor teammates across engineering disciplines to deliver innovative, durable tools for the construction trades.

The role emphasizes system-level thinking, materials knowledge, and a hands-on approach to solving complex mechanical challenges, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of machine design experience.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD Modeling.
• Broad knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (Domestic and International).
• Experience with systems where closed-loop performance, accuracy, and repeatability are critical.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical resource on mid/high complexity Power Tool New Product Development projects.
• Provide clear technical information to cross functional teammates and global teams; assist in trade-off decisions.
• Establish test regimens for components and assemblies; deliver data analysis to support design choices.
• Mentor engineering and non-engineering teammates as a technical resource.
• Apply first principles to create models and perform rigorous engineering analyses.
• Perform mechanical stress analyses and root cause investigations.
