The San Diego County Water Authority is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead and manage complex CIP projects, coordinating design and construction across departments and with external partners.

The ideal candidate brings Civil Engineering expertise, a CA PE is preferred, and at least eight years of public water utility experience. Telework is available one day bi-weekly, with a hybrid on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Registered Professional Engineer in CA preferred.
• 8 years of professional engineering experience in public water/utility design.
• Experience with CIP, scheduling, and control tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex CIP projects from planning through construction.
• Provide project management and technical leadership.
• Review drawings and specifications for compliance.
• Coordinate with departments and external stakeholders.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets.
