Zusammenfassung

FloQast is seeking a senior Front-End Design Engineer to help build an AI-powered, enterprise-grade design system and UI framework. You will collaborate with Design, Product, and Platform Engineering across global teams to craft scalable, data-heavy interfaces for finance professionals.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of experience in enterprise UX, mastery of React/TypeScript, and a strong track record in design systems, AI UX challenges, and cross-functional collaboration at scale.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Design Engineer, UX Engineer, Design Technologist, or Front-End Engineer building and shipping complex, data-heavy B2B SaaS applications.
• Daily hands-on experience using frontier AI tools and coding assistants (Claude, Cursor, Vercel, etc.) to accelerate component development, prototype functional interfaces, and write machine-readable documentation for automated workflows.
• A strong foundation in UX/UI design principles, including information architecture, data-dense table UX, and workflow design for enterprise software.
• Excitement and collaborative drive to serve as a core technical partner alongside Design leadership and our Platform Engineering team across global teams.
• Advanced proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Storybook, and component library architecture.
• Experience building, maintaining, and scaling enterprise design systems in code, with design tokens, accessibility, and versioning.
• Familiarity with AI frontend challenges such as latency, streaming UI, non-deterministic states, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Strong cross-functional leadership across distributed teams to drive alignment and adoption.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and untangle legacy UI codebases.

Aufgaben

• Build and ship the design system in code: own the FloUI component library, documentation, visual testing, versioning, and accessibility in Storybook.
• Bridge Global Engineering Pods and establish PR review guardrails and documentation for high-velocity, UI-consistent development.
• Architect AI-native front-end patterns with design tokens and semantic UI trees for AI workflows.
• Prototype in React/TypeScript to test agentic AI workflows with real users before full BU sprint commitment.
• Enable designers and PM to contribute code with modern front-end tooling and guardrails.
• Collaborate with Product Designers as a true UX partner to ensure intuitive, performant enterprise UI.
• Lead discovery and code audits, map legacy UI deprecations before sprint planning.
• Elevate quality, accessibility, responsive layouts, and performance in data-dense dashboards.
