Job summary

Comp AI in Florida seeks a Senior Design Engineer to bridge product design and frontend engineering. You will own the design system, craft AI-driven interfaces, and write production-ready React code. This hybrid role requires leadership in tokens, components, and UI architecture to scale fast-shipping teams.

You’ll drive end-to-end UX for complex dashboards, collaborate across design and engineering, and raise velocity by applying AI tools to prototype, code, and document interfaces.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional design/engineering experience in product design or UX engineering.
• Mastery of design tools (Figma/Framer) and component systems with interactive prototyping.
• Production-grade front-end: React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Tailwind.
• Experience with AI tooling to accelerate design and prototyping.
• Strong understanding of design tokens, responsive layouts, and state management.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and GitHub codebases.

Responsibilities

• Own, scale, and maintain the design system (components, tokens, styling).
• Design end-to-end UX for AI-driven dashboards and workflows.
• Translate designs into high-quality, responsive React code in GitHub.
• Create clear documentation and specifications for engineers.
• Audit live UI to ensure pixel-perfect consistency and avoid regressions.
• Improve team velocity by integrating AI in the design-build loop.
