Job summary

Aggreko, LLC in New Iberia or Houston seeks a Senior Design Engineer to design power systems, perform calculations, and prepare drawings and PDPs for generation projects. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to multi-site projects with a focus on reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities include creating layouts, BOMs, and technical documentation, plus providing on-site and remote support using ETAP/PSCAD. Travel to client sites is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited or approved equal).
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical field with high accuracy.

What you’ll do as Senior Design Engineer:

You are:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited or approved equal)

• Strong technical knowledge and experience in electrical field and excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with high level of accuracy
• Availability to travel to support business needs and for training and in possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business EPC, Battery and Medium voltage a plus
