Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join the Decatur/East Peoria, IL team. You will manage platform designs for heavy equipment, coordinate with manufacturing partners, and ensure drawings and engine arrangements are released accurately.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, strong CAD skills (Creo/Teamcenter), and the ability to lead complex design reviews. Onsite work five days a week in Decatur or East Peoria is expected.

The Drivetrain Platform Team has design control ownership for the system level of transmissions, torque converters, gearboxes, and axles.
