AV is seeking a Supervisor, Designing and Drafting in Moorpark, CA. You will lead a team of drafters to produce engineering drawings, ECNs, BOMs, and related documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires extensive experience with drafting standards, aerospace configuration management, and SolidWorks/EPDM. You will mentor staff, manage resources, and drive continual improvement in group efficiency.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years in creation, review, and change management of engineering drawings and related technical documentation.
• Experience in a team leadership role.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.100 and Y14.5 standards and related docs.
• Experience with aerospace configuration management practices.
• Experience with diverse drawing types (machined parts, PCB, weldments, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Assign drafting resources to projects and resolve conflicts.
• Define scope of work and work estimates for projects.
• Monitor project progress (technical, cost & schedule) and escalate as needed.
• Support drawing releases and revisions with Production, Product Engineering, and CM groups.
• Establish, maintain, and enforce drafting group standards and procedures.
• Identify process improvements and lead efficiency initiatives.
• Oversee engineering product data management system (e.g., SolidWorks EPDM) implementation and training.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews and provide development feedback.
• Other duties as assigned.
